Relentlessly Chasing Beautiful Outcomes
About
From Mat Boards to Global Brands
I’ve spent my career chasing beautiful outcomes—whether that meant cutting mat boards to perfection late into the night, leading global brand transformations, or building creative teams from scratch. I’m an Executive Creative Director with a deep love for branding and design, and an even deeper belief in the power of people and culture to create extraordinary impact.
Launching My First Agency: Bamboo
My path has taken me through just about every corner of the industry. I launched my first agency, Bamboo, and quickly found myself leading national campaigns for Coca-Cola, Target, and General Mills. We won over fifty awards, but what mattered most was the creative culture we built, one where ideas flowed and everyone had a voice.
A World-Stage Brand for a World-Class Brand
Eventually, I traded my boutique agency for a global platform, joining LPK to lead the worldwide rebrand of Olay for P&G. That work took me across cultures and continents, shaping a brand identity that could resonate in Latin America, China, and the U.S. It was big, complex, and incredibly rewarding. And somewhere in the middle of all that, I met my fiancé. Proof that beautiful outcomes come in many forms.
The Leap That Changed Everything
After LPK, I took on one of the most challenging and meaningful roles of my career, launching Hornall Anderson’s New York office. As both Managing Director and Executive Creative Director, I wore a lot of hats: growing the business, leading the team, overseeing the work, and making it all run. I had no idea if I could do it when I started. But we ended our first year profitable, energized, and proud.
From the Boardroom to... Omnicom's Senior Management Program with Harvard
My hard work earned me a spot in Omnicom’s leadership program with Harvard Business School, which pushed me harder than anything I’d done before. It stretched me as a leader and reminded me that stepping into the unknown is where growth really happens.
A Decade-Long Client Turned Co-Founder
One of the most gratifying parts of this journey has been building real, lasting client relationships. One in particular led to a full-circle moment: a client I worked with for nearly a decade eventually became my business partner, and together we launched Courage. That kind of creative partnership is rare, and I’m deeply grateful for it.
Learning Never Stops
I’m someone who’s never quite at rest. I learn by doing, and I’m constantly exploring what’s next. Whether it’s diving into new tech, experimenting with Figma and motion, building websites, or simply following the pulse of culture—I love being hands-on. Staying curious and staying hungry has always been part of my DNA.
Beautiful Outcomes, Always
Today, I’m driven by the same mission I always have been: to redraw the boundaries of the conventional and chase beautiful outcomes. I lead with heart and clarity, and I believe the best work is born when we explore daringly, innovate wisely, and achieve beautifully. Life’s too short for work that doesn’t move people.

CREATIVE LEADERSHIP
Who I Am
I’m a creative leader who’s spent the past two decades helping brands find their soul and show up in the world with clarity, beauty, and purpose.
I lead with bold ideas that drive real impact. I’ve led global rebrands, launched new ventures, and built creative cultures from the ground up. Vision is nothing without execution, and I’m passionate about building the systems, teams, and trust it takes to turn great ideas into meaningful outcomes.
I craft stories that stick, not because they’re trendy, but because they’re rooted in what’s true and what matters. Whether shaping a legacy skincare line or a high-tech start-up in wellness, I lead with empathy, strategy, and creativity that connects on a human level.
I’ve collaborated across marketing, product, and strategy teams on a global scale, and I know how to align different voices around a shared creative vision. I thrive in high-growth, high-trust environments where collaboration fuels great work.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the teams I’ve built. Mentorship and culture are core to how I lead, creating the conditions where people grow, stretch, and consistently deliver their best.
In all of my work, I’m here to raise the bar. To devote my time to building brands that are smart, soulful, and built to last.
WHAT I BRING
Creative Vision with Purpose
I help businesses push past the expected with ideas that are bold, beautiful, and built to last.
Strategy That Connects
I shape brand stories that feel personal and powerful, aligned to the business and emotionally in tune with the people we’re trying to reach.
Design and Creativity That Drives Impact
Whether launching a new brand or scaling a global one, I bring clarity, consistency, and creativity that moves the needle.
A Deep Love of Beauty and Intelligence
I’ve spent my career making people feel something, by designing brands that are both inspiring and relevant.
True Team Leadership
I know how to lead with vision and bring people along for the ride—mentoring teams, building trust, and helping everyone do their best work.
MY STORY
Origins of a Creative Eye
I’ve always been drawn to beauty, not just in how things look but in how they make you feel. Early on, I trained myself to really see things. Not just what was in front of me, but what it could become and why it might matter to someone. That way of seeing is what makes me good at what I do, and honestly, it’s still what keeps me curious and inspired to keep going. Over the years, I’ve led big rebrands, built creative teams from the ground up, and helped brands find the version of themselves that feels most true and most meaningful to others. What I love most is the beauty that comes through the whole process—the ideas, the people, the joy in making something that actually connects. That kind of beauty is what stays with you, and it all starts with learning how to see.
Launching My First Agency: Bamboo
I started Bamboo in Minneapolis because I wanted to build something of my own. But it was never about building me as a designer, it was about creating the kind of environment where great ideas could actually become reality. I had no clue how fast it would grow, but before long we were leading national campaigns for Target and working with Coca-Cola and General Mills. Being named one of the Best and Brightest Design Firms in the U.S. by Graphic Design America was a proud moment, even if we were too busy working to really celebrate it. The awards and accolades were great, but what I’m really proud of is the culture we built. People felt comfortable taking risks because they knew we had each other’s backs. We pushed when it mattered and made space for the work to go somewhere new. We never played it safe. And it helped that we weren’t the kind of agency that just said yes to everything.
A World-Stage Brand for a World-Class Brand
Eventually, I decided it was time to start over. I traded my boutique agency for a global stage and joined LPK to lead the worldwide rebrand of Olay for P&G. It was a chance to stretch in new ways, and as someone who loves to learn and reinvent herself, I was all in. The work took me across cultures and continents, reshaping a brand that needed to feel true in places like Latin America, China, and the U.S. It was big, complex, and incredibly rewarding. And somewhere in the middle of all that, I met my fiancé. Just goes to show, starting over doesn’t mean losing what you’ve built, it can lead you somewhere even better.
The Leap That Changed Everything
Have you ever said yes to something without knowing if you could actually pull it off? Or kind of pretended you could do the job just to get the job? That was me when I agreed to launch Hornall Anderson’s New York office. I stepped in as both Managing Director and Executive Creative Director, which meant I was growing the business, leading the team, overseeing the work, and figuring out how to make it all run, sometimes all at once. I had no idea if I could do it. But by the end of that first year, we were profitable, energized, and genuinely proud of what we’d built. That leap taught me more about leadership, resilience, and trust in myself than anything else. It really did change everything.
From the Boardroom to... Omnicom's Senior Management Program with Harvard
And I thought running Hornall Anderson New York was hard. All my efforts earned me a spot in Omnicom’s leadership program with Harvard Business School. It stretched me in all the best ways as a leader even if it was my second job.
I’m someone who’s never really at rest. I learn by doing, and I’m always chasing what’s next. Whether it’s playing around in Figma, testing out motion, building a site, or just keeping up with the rhythm of culture, I love staying hands-on. Curiosity has always been a part of who I am. It keeps me engaged, keeps the work interesting, and honestly, keeps me growing.
Beautiful Outcomes, Always
These days, I’m still driven by the same mission I’ve always had: to push past the expected and chase work that feels beautifully original. I lead with the belief that the best work comes when we’re brave enough to explore past conventional boundaries, smart enough to build with intention, and when we’re committed enough to make it all matter. In the end, life’s too short for outcomes that don't move people in meaningful ways.

PHILOSOPHY
I believe beautiful outcomes happen when we’re brave enough to go beyond the conventional, thoughtful enough to build with intention, and committed enough to make it matter.

"With thoughtful effort and unwavering dedication, even the simplest ideas can bloom into breakthroughs that shape the future"
"With thoughtful effort and unwavering dedication, even the simplest ideas can bloom into breakthroughs that shape the future"
Life is short; never stay at rest. Dream, and create something beautiful.
The Beauty in Gray and Pink
The Beauty in Pink and Gray

Gray, A Beautiful Outcome
I welcomed Gray into my life during my early years as a young creative director. Training Gray was not merely a matter of teaching tricks or enforcing rules—it was an exercise steeped in the nuances of her spirited Westie personality. Her legacy of bold independence reminds me of what we can achieve with patience and respect for individuality.
Over sixteen years, Gray became more than just a well-trained dog; she was a masterclass in managing tenacity with grace, devising training strategies and adhering to them, and above all, valuing loyalty—lessons that profoundly shaped who I am at work and in life.
Our life together was the beautiful definition of persistence, tolerance, diligence, and commitment. Gray's enduring presence in my heart stands as one of my grandest achievements—a beautiful outcome not just for what she achieved as my gold-standard Westie but also for what she inspired in me and the invaluable lessons she imparted leaving an indelible mark on my life.
Pink, A Beautiful Work in Progress
Recently, Pink, a mischievous Westie whirlwind, has catapulted into my life, turning my daily routine into a crazy circus of chaos. This adventure with Pink reflects the myriad hurdles and triumphs that pepper both life and work, serving up rich lessons in persistence and adaptability.
Our epic sock negotiations (spoiler alert: we're in a stalemate) have become ridiculous yet real moments for growth. Training Pink is much like directing—a saga filled with unexpected plot twists, joyful triumphs, and the expected setbacks. Pink is not just a puppy; she's my irresistible professor of resilience, teaching me the art of staying cool and refining my negotiation tactics with a wag of her tail. As I navigate this dynamic course of socks, stubbornness, and surprises, Pink continues to be an endless source of inspiration, reminding me that the most profound lessons often come in simple packages.
Perspective from the Puppy Playground
Tails of Wisdom
For someone like me, who thrives on the satisfaction of a job well done and a process perfectly orchestrated, training puppies isn't just appealing—it's a bona fide calling. There's an artistry in the meticulous planning and unyielding resilience required, traits that mirror my own as a director. Each day in the puppy training arena is an emotional rollercoaster—exasperating, enlightening, and exceptionally rewarding, each challenge painted with strokes of expected losses but also small yet significant victories. My adventures with Pink and Gray, two Westies, have offered surprising insights into leadership and adaptability. Who knew that the most valuable lessons wouldn't come from strategic retreats but from a leash in one hand and a doggy treat in the other? Embracing the chaos of puppy training has not only taught me about patience and persistence but has also revealed the nuanced skills necessary to lead effectively—proving that sometimes, the best directors may just have the best fetch game.
